Join Sewing Teacher & Bag Maker Lauren Holloway from Creative Space Bristol, on this Beginner Machine Sewing workshop at the Stitching4All show at Bath & West Showground.

Learn basic techniques to help build your confidence and skills using a sewing machine, along with how to make a simple drawstring bag. Lauren will start the class by showing you all aspects of the machine, what each part does along with how to thread it correctly.
You’ll then go on to make your own drawstring bag out of a selection of
fabrics provided. Lauren will guide you through each step of the process,
teaching useful troubleshooting tips and tricks along the way. You’ll finish with
new-found knowledge and skills plus a lovely bag to take home. After
the workshops Lauren will send you the pattern instructions so you can make it
again.

Workshop runs on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th & Saturday 21st September, 10:30am-12:30pm.

Price is £20pp including sewing machine/kit hire and materials. Perfect for beginners, 16yrs+.
